The item has a tag that reads RAKA on one side and 10 on the other side. We believe that the 10 stands for the size of the shorts. We are unsure but believe that these may be small lederhosen either for a large child or small adult. We are unsure as to how old the set is but believe it to be vintage. The waist measures roughly 13” across the front. We assume that the waist would be roughly 26” based on that measurement, though we are unsure. If you are purchasing these to wear we recommend making the same measurement on items that fit you comfortably for comparison. The shorts measure roughly 15” from the waist to the bottom of the shorts. The suspenders and chest piece are removable. Each of the suspenders measures roughly 22 1/2” in length. The chest piece has what appears to be an Alpine chamois head emblem. We are unsure as to what material this emblem is made from but believe it may be plastic. The emblem has some dirty and/or stained areas and what look like manufacturing imperfections. The chest piece also has a zippered pocket. The zipper is in working condition. The shorts have 2 large pockets and a dagger pocket. The shorts have some staining on them but otherwise look to have normal general wear. The chest piece has some damage to the leather along the edges as well as some fading to the leather. All the buttons appear to be in place and in working order. The set weighs roughly 1 lb 8.5 oz.
